Shared Position Description

 Every board and staff member plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our operations.


Our collective position description outlines key responsibilities that apply to everyone, regardless of their department.


  • Understand our programs, campus, community, products, history, and services
  • Act as an ambassador of Backyard Basecamp, Inc.
  • Plan, implement, and/or facilitate a program at Backyard Basecamp, Inc.
  • Support each other’s work and the organization’s core values
  • 20% of staff time is dedicated to supporting land/facility stewardship activities
