A Dream Actualized
Backyard Basecamp has renovated an abandoned farmhouse, adjacent to BLISS Meadows, our 10-acre green space in the heart of Baltimore City.
After a successful GoFundMe in 2019 that raised over $60K in less than 30 days, we spent the next four years raising the $1 million needed to convert this 93-year-old farmhouse into our headquarters.
With your help, we have brought the farmhouse back to life for the community, our partners, and our team! While we did run into some challenges after with basement flooding, we were able to quickly mitigate it.
There are still some finishing touches to make, but we are completely moved in!
