Weeds 2 Woods

Program Overview

We offer an environmental workforce development program for Baltimore City youth ages 16-24 who identify as Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color (BIPOC). 

What We Offer

  •  Education and training on Maryland's natural history through field trips
  • Transportation support for all field trips
  • A "toolkit" of skills and activities to engage and teach Baltimore's youth about nature in our city
  • Lunch
  • Wilderness First Aid Certification
  • Camping Trip
  • Optional Wildlife Tracking Certification
  • Stipend
