Once a forgotten lot, BLISS Meadows is now 10 acres of forest, meadow, ponds, orchard, and farm, reclaimed by our community and open to yours.

Our Story
Backyard Basecamp was founded by Atiya Wells, a pediatric nurse who noticed she could count the Black and Brown faces in nature programs on one hand.
What began as neighborhood nature walks has grown into BLISS Meadows, a place where families of color are not just welcome, but centered.
